Baby Love Music Fun FREE Workshop - Melanie Maslin
Calling out to parents with new born babies! Melanie Maslin, the founder of Baby Love Music Fun is coming down to Penang to give you a FREE workshop! Expose your baby to the music world!
Baby Love Music Fun offers fun music activities for babies 3 months to 14 months. It places strong emphasis on parents engaging with their baby, by combining developmental milestones activities with music, movement and live singing.
Toddler Music Magic for toddlers 1 year to 2+ years, is a program by Jammin' Senzation. This course encourages toddlers to develop vocal exploration, rhythmic patterns, creating and improvising movements, memory, listening and more through singing, dancing, playing and moving.

Baby Love Music Fun FREE Workshop @ WOU
Why music helps babies 3 months to 3 years?
Research shows that during the first three years, an infant's brain is not completely developed yet. The complete 'wiring pattern' is determined by the stimulus that it receives during that time. Babies who are held, talked to, sung to and exposed to music and stories form stronger neural connections in their brains.
This FREE workshop is designed for babies 3 months and above. Baby Love Music Fun program uses music and movement activities to observe and develop milestones outlined in both the Victorian Best Start child health record program and the Development Checklists from the Early Childhood Direction Centre, New York. The milestones include gross motor, fine motor, language speech and hearing, social behaviour and play, etc.
The Baby Love Music Fun program aims to
- promote parent/child bonding
- promote, observe and develop milestones for babies
- raise awareness of quality musical choices for babies
The program curriculum offers over 50 activity ideas with accompanying music, as well as over 10 unique playlists with detailed lesson plans to offer variation, development of babies and activity expansion.

Charity Concert: "FEVER"
In aid of the St. Nicholas Home,"FEVER - A Feverish Night of Pop, Cabaret, Jazz & Rock"
features an exciting and entertaining blend of Pop, Cabaret, Jazz and Rock; labeled as Pop the Musical, The Misty Night, All That Jazz and Rock on Fire respectively.This concert will feature three execptionally talented and powerful guests artists, and they are Denise Mininfield (Jazz Singer USA), Melanie Maslin (OPERA Singer AUS )and Marlene Fox (Jazz Singer), Jens Bunge (Harmonicist Germany)& David Story(Guitarist US). These three DIVAS are vocalists who hail from the United States, Australia and Scotland respectively and are highly experienced and have been plying their trade for many years.
In addition to these three vocalists, this concert will see many other local star musicians such as Kelvyn Yeang and Kysko, Moses and sons, Leonard Selva, William Scully, George Swalwell, Mak Tim Joe, Alvin Bok; Soo from Freshbeat and Dancers from Priscilla Ballet, Khai Sin & freelance dancers Julia, Marilyn, Michelle; as well as teachers, musicians and students of Jammin' Senzation.

KELVYN YEANG
Lead guitarist for Ocean of Fire, an instrumental progressive rock band, Kelvyn's also serving in music ministry in SAND and church. He is also fulltime in teaching and performing guitar.
Workshop will be discussing the different aspects that goes into song writing as well as technique development!

d'Night Of Elegance - Opera Meets Jazz
Jammin' Senzation is privileged to present its 3rd Annual Charity Concert 2010, in co-operation with the Penang State Government. All proceeds will be channeled to St. Nicholas' Home Penang and the Penang Down Syndrome Association (PDSA).

Beau Bristow will be making a pit-stop at Jammin' Senzation for a brief workshop & mini-concert!
